WHAT
A career-kickstarting intensive about the basics every actor should know, with a particular focus on headshots and audition tapes. Including a mini-headshot session, a matching slate shot, and taped material for your reel.
This workshop will be very limited to allow for each participant to get individual attention, practice, and feedback.
WHY
We’ve noticed that a lot of actors (especially those that are new to the business) have a lot of the same questions, and we want to lift the veil on some real world acting life processes in a relaxed and fun environment.

WE’LL COVER
Tips for prepping for and taking your future headshot sessions.

Current industry trends for headshots and taped auditions.
•
“Type read” where we talk about first impressions and how that relates to your headshots.

A general introduction to the taped audition process.
•
An in-depth and judgment-free Q&A session where you can ask anything you’re confused or curious about. We can’t cast you or represent you, so there’s no need to play it cool.
YOU’LL GET
Headshots! We’ll do a one look headshot session with each participant as part of the workshop + a matching slate shot. (One look = one outfit. Layers are allowed.)

Taped material! You can bring in an actual monologue or scene to tape on the day. You’ll get on-camera practice and material for your reel.
